Beach Wedding Locations
Dramatic, unique and often quiet, these beach wedding locations sit away from the hotels. All four are off-property beaches, on Barbados’ east, west and south east coasts.
Bathsheba
Rugged and breathtakingly beautiful, Bathsheba is washed by the endless surf of the Atlantic and unspoilt in its natural beauty, about 40 minutes from Bridgetown. It is more open to the weather, but a unique and unforgettable place for dramatic photographs.
Fitts Village
Beautiful tree-lined beach location that is one of the few locations on Barbados’ west coast that has easy access and is not adjacent to a hotel or restaurant. Very popular as a wedding location, but still within a short drive away from many restaurants where one can dine and celebrate after the ceremony.
Bottom Bay and Foul Bay
Bottom Bay
Very white, fine sand and the clearest turquoise water, ringed by majestic coral cliffs with coconut palms above: one of the most spectacular Caribbean locations for a wedding. It can be windy on the cliff top, and the beach is reached by about 80 meters of railed stairs.
Foul Bay
About 200 meters of virgin white sand between rugged cliffs, with boats bobbing offshore and trees for shade. With little development close by it is normally quiet, about 45 minutes from Bridgetown, though fairly exposed, with limited facilities in poor weather.
